He is bound and determined to hunt a bear and then make a bear rug out of it and put it in our house!!!! There is no way in the world I would put this anywhere in my house where I would see it on a daily basis. It's creepy and gross and would probably give the kids bad dreams. What's your opinions on a bear rug in your house???? Am I being unreasonable here?

NO YOU ARE NOT! There is no way I would let one in my house. Connie had one in her house..once I came in the family it got put away. I am sure I can dig it out and give it to steve?? haha!!-hil
hahahaha...totally reminds me of growing up, we had this stuffed hawk who's eyes would follow me....and a deer and who knows what else....I wouldnt let them put it in my house, but that is just!!
i think steve should get the rug. only dont make it a rug, hang it on the wall like gma r. didnt she have 2? remember we would dare each other to put our hands in their mouths, and touch their teeth?? that was soo scary. imagine how much fun your kids would have with it.
but if you got lice in your family again, i would get rid of the bear, cuz im sure that they would have a hayday in a bear wall hanging...
i agree with shannon. let him hang it on the wall. right over your fireplace. or a rug in front of the fireplace would be nice too. the fireplace in your living room upstairs that is.
Wow, you are mean.I would actually let him put it on the bed. Then you can snuggle up to it while you're sleeping. But I agree with the lice thing. That's just gross. OR you could txiderm it and put it up in your front entrance and hang coats on it. Just a thought....
Personally I think that is a little creepy. I would have nightmares if I saw that in the middle of the night. Tell Steve to build you a beautiful log cabin in the wood somewhere (your 2nd home a retreat) and he could put it in there.
I've always wanted one so if Steve gets a bear he can always leave it at my house.

What I think that is the coolest thing ever. You should hang it above your bed and then you would have such sweet dreams. NOT! I am totally with you on that one. Guys are so interesting. Jason laughed at this to. Too funny! Good luck!
